This award recognizes the teams for achieving outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including a patient satisfaction rate higher than 92 percent.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Southcoast Health Wound Care at Charlton Memorial and Tobey hospitals also received the prestigious Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Clinical Excellence Award by Healogics, for ranking in the top 10 percent of eligible Healogics Wound Care Centers for comprehensive heal rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Charlton Memorial received the President\u2019s Circle Award, which is the highest honor recognizing wound care centers that demonstrate exceptional performance in clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are so proud of this accomplishment and remain committed to ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care, delivered with compassion and empathy,\u201d said <strong>Cheryl Thompson, RN, Market Director for Southcoast Health Wound Care. <\/strong>\u201cThis recognition is a testament to our expert team\u2019s commitment to clinical excellence and delivering personalized and effective treatment plans to our patients to improve their quality of life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Wound Care 2026\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1202630557?h=3e7352ba39&amp;dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Healogics data, an estimated 11 million Americans are living with a chronic or non-healing wound. These wounds aren\u2019t just surface problems; they are complex medical challenges often complicated by underlying conditions. When wounds don\u2019t heal, they can rapidly progress to dangerous infections that may increase the risk of amputations or even loss of life. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Southcoast Health Wound Care is the first comprehensive wound care program in southeastern Massachusetts. The program is a member of the Healogics network of nearly 600 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.healogics.com\/About\/find-wound-care-center\">Wound Care Centers<\/a> and offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections, and other chronic wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advanced wound care modalities provided by Southcoast Health include negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, compression therapy, bio-engineered tissues, and biosynthetic dressings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Southcoast Health also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, an
