We are pleased to announce that Dr. James Witkowski has been promoted to Executive Chief of Medicine at Southcoast Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With an admirable commitment to our community, Dr. Witkowski has served as the Hospitalist Site Medical Director at Charlton Memorial Hospital since 2008, overseeing rapid growth of the hospital medicine program over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this new role, he will lead the system-wide Medicine Division across the medicine specialty clinics and all three hospitals, focusing on strategic initiatives, clinician recruitment efforts, talent development, productivity, and clinical quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
