O Dr. David Handin obteve o seu grau de Doutor em Medicina no Albert Einstein College of Medicine em Bronx, Nova Iorque. Em seguida, completou uma resid\u00eancia de tr\u00eas anos em Medicina Interna no Brigham and Women's Hospital em Boston, Massachusetts.
