Juntamente com a equipa de cuidados prim\u00e1rios, ele concentra-se na parceria com v\u00e1rias especialidades do Sistema de Sa\u00fade Southcoast para refor\u00e7ar os cuidados aos pacientes e servir melhor a nossa comunidade.\n<\/p>\n<p>Durante o seu mandato na Southcoast Health, o Dr. Podkowa foi Diretor M\u00e9dico da Southcoast Health Network, Chefe Regional de Cuidados Prim\u00e1rios, Diretor de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o M\u00e9dica e Vice-Presidente S\u00e9nior. A sua lideran\u00e7a sempre teve como objetivo melhorar a forma como os cuidados s\u00e3o prestados e vividos.\n<\/p>\n<p>O Dr. Podkowa \u00e9 certificado em Medicina Interna e continua a atender pacientes em Dartmouth. O seu compromisso com a compaix\u00e3o estende-se muito para al\u00e9m do seu papel cl\u00ednico, e estabeleceu uma parceria com a Southcoast Health para criar o Nicole Podkowa Patient &amp; Caregiver Fund, que presta apoio aos doentes necessitados da Southcoast Health Cancer Care.\n<\/p>\n<p>Antes de se juntar \u00e0 Southcoast Health, o Dr. Podkowa obteve a sua licenciatura em medicina no Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, na Pensilv\u00e2nia. Em seguida, completou sua resid\u00eancia em Medicina Interna no Temple University Hospital, na Filad\u00e9lfia, onde atuou como residente-chefe.
