Hope Rocks for Cancer

Project reminds patients that they are not alone

Southcoast Health has launched the Hope Rocks Project, an initiative that will remind patients that they are not alone in their fight against cancer.

Patients and visitors at the Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care in Fairhaven and Fall River will be asked to draw a picture, write a message or add a few simple words to a small rock. The patient or visitor can then take the rock and find a spot to leave it in the community over the course of their day. The rocks out in the community remind patients and their families of the support they have.
