Una resonancia magn\u00e9tica dura desde unos minutos hasta una hora o m\u00e1s, y todos los pacientes tienen que quitarse todo el metal y ponerse una bata de hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante una RMN, se tumbar\u00e1 en una camilla dentro del esc\u00e1ner de RMN. El esc\u00e1ner tiene forma de tubo largo o de anillo abierto y aplanado (RM abierta). Tendr\u00e1 que permanecer lo m\u00e1s quieto posible mientras el t\u00e9cnico toma una serie de im\u00e1genes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es posible que necesite un medio de contraste para resaltar determinadas partes o sistemas del cuerpo, como los vasos sangu\u00edneos. La RMN no conlleva ning\u00fan riesgo de exposici\u00f3n a la radiaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.southcoast.org\/es\/services\/radiology\/magnetic-resonance-imaging-mri\/how-to-prepare\/#Sounds\"><strong>Escuche c\u00f3mo suena una resonancia magn\u00e9tica<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparaci\u00f3n de la visita<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ropa y metal:<\/strong> Se le pedir\u00e1 que se quite los objetos met\u00e1licos (joyas, relojes, horquillas, aud\u00edfonos, piercings, etc.) Se le pedir\u00e1 que se ponga una bata de hospital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Historial m\u00e9dico:<\/strong> Un tecn\u00f3logo te examinar\u00e1: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Marcapasos, implantes, fragmentos met\u00e1licos o clips quir\u00fargicos <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Antecedentes de problemas renales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Claustrofobia o ansiedad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comida y bebida:<\/strong> La mayor\u00eda de las resonancias magn\u00e9ticas no requieren ayuno, pero algunas s\u00ed; siga las instrucciones de su cita. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Medios de contraste:<\/strong> Algunas resonancias magn\u00e9ticas utilizan contraste. Si es as\u00ed, se administra por v\u00eda intravenosa y suele causar solo una sensaci\u00f3n de frescor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu\u00e9 ocurre durante una resonancia magn\u00e9tica<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Se tumbar\u00e1 en una camilla acolchada que se desliza dentro del esc\u00e1ner de RM (un t\u00fanel corto). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>El tecn\u00f3logo puede verle y o\u00edrle todo el tiempo y dispondr\u00e1 de un bot\u00f3n de llamada si necesita ayuda. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quedarse quieto es muy importante,<\/strong> El movimiento puede desenfocar las im\u00e1genes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Los ex\u00e1menes suelen durar entre 20 y 60 minutos,<\/strong> seg\u00fan el estudio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Sounds\">Ruidos durante una resonancia magn\u00e9tica<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los esc\u00e1neres de IRM hacen mucho ruido durante la toma de im\u00e1genes debido a los campos magn\u00e9ticos que cambian r\u00e1pidamente. Los ruidos son normales y esperables. Tipos comunes de ruidos que pueden hacer las IRM:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Golpes:<\/strong> Golpes r\u00edtmicos y repetitivos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zumbido:<\/strong> Sonidos continuos de tipo el\u00e9ctrico<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clic \/ Golpe:<\/strong> Pulsaciones m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidas y ligeras<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sonidos similares a los de un martillo neum\u00e1tico:<\/strong> Ritmos m\u00e1s profundos y contundentes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos ruidos pueden cambiar a lo largo del examen a medida que se toman diferentes im\u00e1genes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 volumen tiene?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>El ruido de la resonancia magn\u00e9tica puede oscilar entre <strong>80-110 decibelios (dB) <\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>~80 dB: Tr\u00e1fico urbano denso <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>~100 dB: Motocicletas o herramientas el\u00e9ctricas <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>~110 dB: Sonido de concierto <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Por ello, recibir\u00e1<strong> tapones para los o\u00eddos, auriculares o ambos.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Muchas instalaciones tambi\u00e9n ofrecen m\u00fasica para ayudar a reducir el estr\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El ruido puede sonar intenso, pero es inofensivo si se utiliza protecci\u00f3n auditiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo suenan realmente las resonancias magn\u00e9ticas?<\/strong><br>Haga clic en el siguiente enlace para ver un ejemplo de algunos sonidos que puede o\u00edr durante la RM.
