Deber\u00e1 contener la respiraci\u00f3n mientras el t\u00e9cnico realiza la radiograf\u00eda, lo que produce m\u00faltiples im\u00e1genes de sus mamas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cu\u00e1ndo hacerse una mamograf\u00eda&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su m\u00e9dico puede recomendarle una mamograf\u00eda por los siguientes motivos:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diagn\u00f3stico de las irregularidades mamarias que usted o su m\u00e9dico detecten durante una exploraci\u00f3n mamaria.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seguimiento de una mamograf\u00eda anterior anormal o para seguir la evoluci\u00f3n de bultos o irregularidades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detecci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer de mama asintom\u00e1tico<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Si es usted mujer, deber\u00eda empezar a hacerse mamograf\u00edas anuales entre los 40 y los 45 a\u00f1os, dependiendo de su riesgo de c\u00e1ncer de mama. Los senos est\u00e1n formados por una mezcla de tejido fibroso y glandular y tejido graso. Si tiene mucho tejido fibroso o glandular, pero poca grasa, sus mamas se consideran densas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si tiene mamas densas, puede tener un mayor riesgo de padecer c\u00e1ncer de mama, lo que hace m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil que los m\u00e9dicos vean signos de c\u00e1ncer en una mamograf\u00eda.
