It aims to improve the quality of life and provide pain relief and other comfort measures for seriously and terminally ill people. Unlike <a href=\"http:\/\/live-southcoast-health.pantheonsite.io\/services\/vna\/hospice-care\/\">hospice<\/a>, palliative care can be delivered at the same time as conventional life-saving medical therapies.<\/p>\n<p>Palliative care at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southcoast.org\/es\/visiting-nurse-association\/\">Southcoast VNA Supportive Care Center<\/a>&nbsp;is available at any time during an illness. Patients can receive services at the same time they are receiving treatments meant to cure their illness.
