This year, U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions; fewer than half earned recognition in any of those 37 areas of care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In addition to the regional rankings, Southcoast Hospitals Group was recognized as a Best Regional Hospital for Community Access. <\/strong>This means thatthe system excels in caring for patients across all socioeconomic groups in the community while maintaining high quality care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><\/a>The U.S. News Best Hospitals rankings serve as a starting point for patients and families, who should consult with their personal physicians when making specific healthcare decisions.
