Cuando a Cindy empezaron a empeorarle los dolores en la cadera, supo que hab\u00eda llegado el momento de buscar ayuda. Lo que empez\u00f3 como una molestia ocasional se hab\u00eda convertido poco a poco en un dolor constante. Durante un viaje a Hawai y Jap\u00f3n, Cindy se dio cuenta de lo mal que lo hab\u00eda pasado.<\/p>\n\n\n

De vuelta a casa, Cindy fue remitida a Dr. Arthur Manoli<\/a>cirujano ortop\u00e9dico en Ortopedia Southcoast Health.<\/a> Desde su primera cita, se sinti\u00f3 segura de estar en manos capaces y atentas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"El Dr. Manoli fue muy comprensivo\", dice. \"Se tom\u00f3 el tiempo necesario para responder a todas mis preguntas y nunca me menospreci\u00f3. Me mantuvo informada en todo momento -antes, durante y despu\u00e9s de la operaci\u00f3n- para que siempre supiera qu\u00e9 esperar.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cindy se someti\u00f3 a una artroplastia total de cadera en Hospital Charlton Memorial<\/a>donde dice que la atenci\u00f3n que recibi\u00f3 super\u00f3 todas sus expectativas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Todo el equipo fue incre\u00edble\", dijo. \"Desde el proceso preoperatorio hasta la recuperaci\u00f3n, todos me hicieron sentir c\u00f3moda y segura\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una parte fundamental de su experiencia fue la enfermera Cheryl Ellis, que gui\u00f3 a Cindy en todas las fases de su intervenci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Cheryl era una voz de apoyo constante\", recuerda Cindy. \"Siempre estaba disponible, siempre era paciente y era un placer trabajar con ella. Se asegur\u00f3 de que tuviera todo lo que necesitaba y de que entendiera perfectamente cada parte del proceso.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En agradecimiento por su habilidad y compasi\u00f3n, Cindy nombr\u00f3 al Dr. Manoli, a su equipo y a Cheryl Southcoast Stars, un sincero agradecimiento a las personas que la ayudaron a volver a caminar c\u00f3modamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
