Por ello, hemos integrado la tecnolog\u00eda InBody, una herramienta de composici\u00f3n corporal no invasiva, para evaluar los signos del linfedema.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La prueba InBody proporciona un desglose detallado del peso del paciente en m\u00fasculo, grasa y agua. Los resultados se utilizan para evaluar el riesgo de desarrollar linfedema. La prueba es tan sencilla como subirse a un dispositivo similar a una b\u00e1scula, lo que supone un m\u00e9todo no invasivo para los pacientes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/library.southcoast.org\/Search\/85,P00148\">Linfedema<\/a> puede producirse cuando hay una interrupci\u00f3n en el flujo de los ganglios linf\u00e1ticos. Los ganglios linf\u00e1ticos de la axila se denominan ganglios linf\u00e1ticos axilares. Drenan los vasos linf\u00e1ticos de la parte superior de los brazos, la mayor parte de la mama y el pecho, el cuello y la axila. Durante la cirug\u00eda del c\u00e1ncer de mama, a menudo se extirpan estos ganglios linf\u00e1ticos (y vasos) cercanos, lo que interrumpe el flujo linf\u00e1tico. Los ganglios linf\u00e1ticos axilares tambi\u00e9n pueden tratarse con radioterapia, lo que provoca da\u00f1os y cicatrices que afectan a la circulaci\u00f3n de la linfa por esa zona.
