Kelly Chhim, RN: It’s All About Family

Meet Kelly Chhim. Working as an RN at Charlton Memorial Hospital’s Family Centered Unit (FCU) may have been pre-destined for Kelly since her grandmother was a midwife in Cambodia, where Kelly was born. Before she was caring for patients across labor, post-partum and NICU, Kelly worked as a translator at Charlton Memorial.

Cheryl Sylvia: A Rewarding Career Powered by a Thirst for Knowledge

Meet Cheryl Sylvia. Given her 30-year career at Southcoast Health, it’s hard to believe that her career journey didn’t begin in healthcare. In fact, Cheryl first worked in the insurance industry. It wasn’t until her own hospital stay that she was inspired to begin her next era – as a phlebotomist at St. Luke’s Hospital. Taking advantage of the ETP program that Southcoast Health offered, Cheryl went back to school to become a Registered Nurse – taking her career to new heights.

Mary Ann Rogers: 55 Years, Countless Eras, One Incredible Legacy

Meet Mary Ann Rogers. With a career spanning over 55 years, it’s no surprise she’s had several different eras while working at Southcoast Health. Beginning in dietary services as a teenager, Mary Ann took on a variety of roles before retiring in IT Project Management in 2018. But her journey didn’t end there. Mary Ann began a new Southcoast Health career era in retirement as a Patient Access Representative.
