  • Office visit was pleasant

  • I had several concerns at my follow up from a major surgery and this was my first time seeing dr Pepi, he seemed to busy to listen. He just wanted to check my incision and move along. None of my concerns were really listened to and I didn't even get to go over all of them. He suggested I came back at several different time frames. I made an appointment for the following week to see a different dr so I can go over all my concerns with the dr's I've seen previously who have listened to me. After having to go back to the ER after having my surgery / delivery & his lack of concern in regards to that I would not want to see this dr again not recommend him.

  • The appointment was quick and easy, I was expecting a biopsy and was thankful that I didn't need one. Dr. Pepi was good at explaining what he had seen and why I didn't need a biopsy, but his bedside manner was a little lacking and patronizing when I was asking about potential complications/after effects from my IUD.

  • I love South Coast OBGYN but the male doctor I saw on the 24th as well as the nurse brushed off my concerns and the visit was a waste of time. If I have another early miscarriage I won't bother calling and just deal with the pain.

  • For first visit more time needed with the provider talking about what's happening and future possibilities. And get to know me better and my expectations

  • I wasn't impressed with the doctor and assistant I met with today. No note were taken. My concerns weren't listened to. I had to message another doctor to get answers to the questions I had. As far as a routine appointment goes, it would have been fine but it was close to lunch time and I was clearly rushed out.

  • No comments everything went very well with respect and patience.

  • The notes in the my chart did not match the verbal language at the appointment. I was never told not to take the calcium, nor was I told some other notes. If I didn't read the my chart, I wouldn't have known.

  • Timely , kind , very helpful

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
