  • Everything is always excellent

  • Telehealth doesn't consider cell phone service. Mine is awful and the experience of many disconnects wasn't good

  • I have always been impressed with both doctors and assistants and staff. I wish they could handle all my health issues! Bravo

  • The provider kept getting text messages that interrupted my appointment, and made her lose her train of thought (and mine since they were loud). I asked her a question before one of those text messages came in and she never answered my question, instead she complained about the text messages, and that part of her job, and never got back to answering my question. Multiple messages came in during my appointment and were very distracting to my provider. Why couldn't she receive those when she wasn't with a patient?? She cut me off when I was talking about symptoms I felt like were relevant to what's going on and I felt like it was yet another neurologist that wasn't actually listening to hear everything going on with me.

  • Being more aware of side effects of prescribed medication would be helpful although she did have wide variety of medications that she understood what they were intended to do There are many medications that have rare side affects and to tell someone that isn't a side affect when indeed it has been since I started the medicationWell that is and can be devastating to someone who takes their drs words as absolute truth. This not first time and I'm sure it won't be the last time this has happened Considering I have some of most random side affects associated with medication

  • Reminder call 30 min before dr called. This is a great way to keep in contact with dr. Especially if it's just a check up. It saves time and waiting. Not sure if getting billed for tellavisits....but wouldn't mind paying the copay. They should keep doing this after covid is under control. I feel you actually get more out of your appointment by taking on the phone. This office is great. Thank you and stay safe!

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
