About Jennifer Costa

Jennifer Costa, FNP-C earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Downers Grove, Illinois. She furthered her expertise by earning her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. Her clinical interests include family medicine.

Jennifer is dedicated to providing care with compassion and good communication, to improve her patients’ mental and physical health. Jennifer’s personal philosophy of care revolves around caring for each patient’s mind, body, and spirit. This holistic approach is important in helping her patients achieve health and happiness.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with loved ones, being in nature, reading, cooking, and yoga.

Listen to me and my health care concerns and made appointments with other doctors for more testing just wish they would take control of my health care and they would order more testing and what needs to be done .. as my primary doctor I would think they have the best interest of my health and well being and would setup more and take all my other doctors and testing outside and come up with a plan to figure it all out as one .. great doctors I would definitely recommend them to others Ty

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office. The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
