About Jason Diogo

Dr. Diogo received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine.

He received his undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from Providence College in Providence, R.I.

Dr. Diogo is board certified in internal medicine.

  • Dr. Diogo is very knowledgeable and listens to your concerns and explains things in a way you can understand!

  • The only difficulties that I had was actually trying to communicate with the office to express my presences. So that I could have been the ask the appropriate covid questions. The number that was provided was not correct. And so then I had to call the office and so that just delayed things a little but otherwise, it was a good experience. It was prompt and it was thoughtful.

  • Dr. Diogo always takes time with me his patient to go over my history and answer any question I have. I feel he's very conscientious and cares about my progress in my health journey. So he is a great. He's the best primary care physician I've had. Thank you.

  • when i called at 1000am to confirm this appt for 1045 i was on hold with the center for 30 min. inappropriate. a phone call appt does not replace a visit in the office. No BLOOD PRESSURE ,NO FACE TO FACE APPT NO WEIGHT TAKEN . HOPE I DO NOT GET A CO PAYMENT FOR THIS VISIT. Dr Diogo is the best physician i ever had. every thing else is not acceptable. When i question why he could not see me there reply was he could only see 14 patient a day and work in the office only 3 days a week. When i spoke to him he was surprised that the office made a home call appt.

  • Dr. Diogo was great. He gave me 3 ways that we can handle my situation and we took it one at the time and I'll be hearing from him next week after 1 of the things that we decided to do. So he was great and he got right back to me and I appreciate that.

  • All of the staff are heroes and extremely professional. They are like family to me.

  • Due to Covid, this visit was conducted by telephone as we do not have virtual capability. Consequently, the physician was limited to data provided to him to by medical records from the hospital and information provided to him by the patient and his wife. The MD could not visualize the patient nor could the patient see the physician. Not optimal.However, given this rather limited situation, Dr. Diogo was very attentive to what was being told to him and had reviewed the medical record prior to the tele visit. This went a long way toward meeting the patient's needs.Not an optimal situation by any means but it helped toward meeting the patient's physical, emotional and social goals.Thank you to Dr. Diogo and his staff [Name] medical technician) for helping us in an extremely difficult and challenging situation. Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
