Dr. Diane Sette started her medical education earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She went on to earn a Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner at The College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, New York. She then completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She was an instructor in the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Residency Program at Providence Community Health Center as well as an adjunct professor in the Master’s program at Simmons University in Boston, MA and the University of Rhode Island. She has been in the medical field for over 35 years.
Dr. Sette was inspired to become an Advance Nurse Practitioner through all the patients she cared for in all the intensive care units throughout her career. She knew she could keep people healthy and out of the hospitals. Her philosophy of care is based on holistic medicine, and caring for people as a whole. She understands that in order to provide good care, you must listen to the patient, remove all biases, and hear their story.
When not at work, Dr. Sette loves to ride around the Cape in her Miata with her Portuguese Water Dog, Mara.
