  • It was my 1st time seeing this doctor. He had a great personality & actually took the time to listen to my concerns & answer all my questions the best he could in easy to understand terms... which is pretty rare these days... and I ask a lot of questions. In my experience some docs can seem to get offended, annoyed, or take it a bit personal when a patient asks a lot of questions & he did not in the least. He gets an A+ in my book.

  • the wait time to see the doctor was longer than normal

  • Dr. Kappogiannis is always thoughtful, thorough and instills confidence in me regarding my care. I always feel well cared-for here.

  • You did everything well!

  • Excellent Team!

  • Answered all my questions and gave me options for treatment. Very satisfied.

  • Dr Kapogiannis and staff are always nice and make me feel comfortable

  • Oh, it was only my first visit number one. The doctor was very understanding and listened and I answered and I explained my health problems. And my refusal and my except of treatment of any kind of therapy. He suggested. So as of right now there is no follow up and less I need him in the future. That's the end of my statement.

  • They explained everything in a manner that the patient can understand... The wait time wasn't long at all... And they were very pleasant.. And talked about the importance of your health an the problem that i had ...

  • From the check in to the doctor's visit, everything was perfection, I really never want to go but to be able to speak with my specialist on anything that is bothering me, is special, he always take the time that I need to ask anything and answer in a way I can understand, thank you so much for being my specialist,!!

  • This was a very convenient and efficient way to interact with my doctor when an in person visit (physical exam) wasn’t necessary.

  • I was taken right on time, the receptionist, the I don't know if it was a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant that brought me in the room. She was excellent and Dr. Kapogiannis was also excellent. I plan on keeping him as my pulmonary physician.

  • So I felt like Dr. Kapogiannis was very knowledgeable about what I was talking to him about which was obstructive sleep apnea. And I thought that he seemed very caring and very interested in helping me. He was running a little behind and it would have been nice if the front office staff could keep you informed about that just so that you know what to expect. But other than that, I have no other complaints they were very very professional in this office.

  • Did fine, much appreciated. The staff were respectful. The physician questioned me appropriately and informed me well in response to my statements.

  • I am new to this office.Have been a couple of times.Very pleased with the staff and the Dr. I seen.Would definitely refer this Dr.

  • Never any problem seeing this provider. Always kind always listens. The staff are also courteous and kind.

  • Fit me in when I needed to have a few things checked in person. Super knowledgeable about my health items. Excellent diagnosis of my items.

  • This was my first visit

  • Everyone in the office was really nice, and knew what they were doing, knew what they were talking about, treated me with respect. The doctor was awesome. He gave me time to tell him what was going on. He asked questions, asked again if I had any questions, so he made me feel very comfortable, and felt like he really knew what he was talking about.

  • Dr. Kapogiannis is always a real gentleman and caring and knowledgeable physician. As usual he was very attentive and patient answering all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. He was extremely thorough and clear about all my medical issues. I highly recommend Dr. Kapogiannis.

  • Location -hard to find

  • We feel lucky that we have Dr.Kapogiannis and his staff as our caregivers. They are always very accommodating to our needs.

  • I don't know what the question was. I lost communications with you. All I can say is that Dr. Kapogiannis is quite thorough and I've been going to him since he came to the city and I'm quite happy. Thank you.

  • all staff and especially Dr Kapogiannis was professional and sincere

  • This was my first telehealth experience and see real value in its future use. It's one of the good things resulting from the pandemic. Keep up the good wok, Southcoast!

  • Great appointment and provider

  • Would like to see blood work performed there so I don't have to go to a second facility

  • You did as best as possible because it had to be over the telephone and I guess we're going to be getting used to this if it ends something that we have to do a lot of calls with our doctors over the phone. I hope everybody is healthy and be blessed and stay safe during this time. Bye.

  • I love Dr. K. He is always on time, asks the right questions, and offers suggestions.I never feel rushed with him and he is very friendly and personable.

  • Awesome patient care

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
