Christina Bordeau, DO, FACOI graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and pre-medical studies from Trinity College of Vermont in Burlington, VT. She then furthered her medical expertise by earning her doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME.
Dr. Bordeau completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY, and then completed her clinical and academic Endocrinology fellowship at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY.
Dr. Bordeau’s primary specialty is Endocrinology.
Her personal philosophy of care is centered around working together with her patients and their families, and to arrive at clinical care that is tailored to the patient’s individual situation. She enjoys educating her patients on medication choices, laboratory testing, results interpretation, and other clinical measures implemented to facilitate care. In addition, Dr. Bordeau takes the time to understand the individual situation of her patient, and with that in mind, develops a plan of care which is both understandable to the patient and their family, as well as targeted in addressing the underlying clinical problem and providing relief as expeditiously as possible.
Dr. Bordeau is a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys numerous indoor and outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, biking, traveling, the arts, and spending time with family and friends.
