Dr. Fitzpatrick is a member of Southcoast Physician Services, practicing at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, where he is a member of the active medical staff.

He is board certified in family medicine and will see patients 16 years of age and over.

A graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Fitzpatrick completed his residency in family medicine at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine.

  • The call was scheduled in a very timely manner and the call went through when it was supposed to. The doctor was exceptional at explaining things to me and the video is very helpful in showing me which muscles I should be putting the heat on and where you know things maybe going and how to take care of everything. I was very pleased. Thank you.

Together we have established a long and comfortable communication. It has not always been easy for me as I am a homeopath and naturalist. Dr. Fitzpatrick has always acknowledged and respected this fact. He has navigated me through very difficult times. I had brain surgery [Name] and he helped me get the care I needed. His staff have always been helpful and professional. Can not imagine being without them.

  • The problem I have a little bit with Dr. Fitzpatrick is he talks very quickly and at 83 years old, my hearing isn't quite as good as it was when I was much younger - and secondly with the mask on top of that, thee annunciation of certain things when we're talking back and forth, I have to keep repeatedly asking him a question about what he said - because he talks so quickly and he talked quickly before we had the mask. So that's just his way of expressing himself - I don't know what one can do about it - but it would be helpful if he could slow down his conversation when he's giving us answers or giving us advice. I guess that's my main concern about*

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
