About Bamidele Fagbola

Bamidele Fagbola, DNP began her academic journey at the University of Ibadan Oyo State Nigeria earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She then earned her Associate in Science degree in nursing from Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA. Bamidele then furthered her medical expertise, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Bamidele is fluent in both English and Yoruba.

Bamidele’s personal philosophy of care is centered around providing holistic care, supported by empathy, compassion, and modern medical techniques to address her patients’ medical, behavioral, and social needs. She is committed to providing health education, health promotion, and disease prevention in order to assist her patients in becoming stakeholders in their plan of care.

When not at work, Bamidele enjoys traveling, dancing, singing, cooking, entertaining, and meeting new people.

  • Del safe me for a persistent and continuous cough. It turned out to be pneumonia. She managed the gathering of information, assessment, testing and diagnosis very well. Additionally, she made sure I was aware of the condition, why she assessed as she did and ordered a chest X-ray to be certain of her assessment. Upon finding the pneumonia from the X-ray she added a medication specific for reliving that condition. She is very observant, quite sociable and a credit to her practice. You need more of her working at your facilities.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
