About Anne Marie Treadup

Dr. Treadup is a native of New Bedford and a graduate of Bishop Stang High School. She attended Tufts University and the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Medicine in Family Medicine and also completed a three year residency program.

She is board certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing in New Bedford since 1998.

  • Good interaction however still seems a little awkward.

  • Dr Treadup is the reason I continue to go to this facility she is so kind and empathetic. She always listens and takes the time need to make you feel like you walk away with a good handle of what is going on. This is the first time I really had something serious and she listened and made me feel comfortable and I left the appointment feeling like things were going to get better it just was going to take time and she really had my back she wasn’t going to let me return to work until she felt I was ready and strong enough to handle what was coming!! Thank You Dr Treadup for alway being there for me!!!

  • I developed a UTI and Dr Treadup did a phone visit shortly after I called the office. Prior to the call, I checked my temperature, blood pressure and weight in preparation for the appointment. She was able to call in an antibiotic for me based on my symptoms and increased my BP meds since it had been changed in the hospital. I was also able to discuss whether I should take magnesium and she told me the appropriate dosage. My cardiology appointment had been postponed due to Covid or I would have asked him that question. That app has been rescheduled for 4/22 and he will check my BP at that app.The medical assistant asked whether I had a computer and would I be interested in a video call. I'm glad I didn't have to do that. I like to research things before I install them and being a senior citizen, it would have taken me a long time to figure out how to do that. For younger patients, a video call might be easy but I hope you will consider that not all of us have those computer skills and when you're in pain as I was, not a good student at that time. I am responding to the antibiotic. I had a very good experience and outcome with this tele-med visit. Please consider keeping phone call visits.

She is a lovely lovely Dr. Takes time. Anything I need to talk about she listens and she looks straight at me. She does not wander. She's my doctor when I'm, when I go to her. I know she's my doctor who cares for me. Thank you very much.

  • Everyone was very pleasant and professional to work with. My only issue is the length of time to get a physical appointment. If you have to make changes to an appointment, it is very difficult to get one within a month or two. Other than that, very pleased with Dr. Treadup and her staff.

  • Your check out procedure took me 40 minutes. There was one person doing check outs. She had a woman (patient?) who seemed to be telling her life story. She was with the check out girl when I arrived to check out. From then I waited 20 minutes to check out, then that takes some time, too. I think having one girl doing that is not good customer service. No one should take 40 minutes to check out. That's my only complaint.

  • This primary provider has always been aware of my medical history. And as taking the time to review with me any new issues, or speak with me regarding any present concerns I may have.

The only thing is that I had been faxing information over several times to the fax number that was given to me the last visit that I was seen in the ER, and for some reason Dr. Anne Treadup did not ever get it, and so it's something there that's lacking because I actually got the fax number from the office. So that was really the only thing. Based on the information she had that I brought in, everything else went well, but she did not really have time to review what was going on because she never received the fax that I was sending. So, I think it's an office glitch I could guess, but that's it. Thank you.

  • On your last question, I kept trying to put in a 10 which you requested if I was very satisfied and you kept coming back saying it was not a 10. That I was putting in a send, I don't have send on this telephone. I tried to put in 1 and 0, and it kept coming back as a wrong answer. I'm very satisfied with everything that Anne Marie Treadup has ever done for myself and my wife. She's an absolute wonder. That's about all I can tell you about it. The place itself is very nice too. But she's outstanding. Thank you.

  • The staff is always very friendly and professional at all times.

  • I got called within minutes of arriving, for the nurse to weigh me, take BP, and go over my mess! Dr Treadup came into office for my wellness check, maybe 5 minutes after I got undressed! She listened to my questions, answered them, and was pleased with my blood work, BP etc.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Helpfulness of Clerks & Receptionists, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
