  • No

  • My only issue was getting a timely appointment. The wait was too long for the condition I was in.

  • The PA must read chart before patient arrives

  • I was very impressed by the fact that the doctor himself came to escort me into his office. I felt special and that I was truly in good hands.

  • Everyone was pleasant and organized…..could not have asked for a better provider experience!

  • This is our 1st time see him will let you know as we continue seeing him.

  • Dr. Marcovici was wonderful, giving me a clear understanding of the areas of concern and explaining specific ways that a surgical solution could relieve my pain. He also suggested thinking about the procedure, supplying me with online information to add to my understanding of the procedure before I opt for surgery. The doctor was the only doctor I've been to who met me in the waiting room and walked me back after our discussion. What an incredible practice and important way to establish a comfortable and caring relationship.

  • He very educated about what his work and showing his clients what the there. Operations is going to look like to give them the opposite if they want to have it or not.

  • Absolutely loved Dr. Marcovicci he is an amazing surgeon and person. He operated 10 years ago on me and I again need surgery and with-out thought scheduled an appointment with him.

  • gave me a path to relieve my pain situation and he was avalible to assist me in in making my daily activity better.

  • Office staff very courteous. Dr Marcovici was very kind and informative. He explained everything very thoroughly. Thank you

  • It's all good

  • Need to follow up sooner when the physician makes a recommendation. Still waiting for my surgery date cause the doctor hasn't placed the order.

  • Prompt response at reception, staff and physician were pleasant and accommodating at the onset of the visit. Physician indicated that I should not have been referred to him. He did say the his office staff would make the appropriate referral to a neurologist stating that people often make a mistake in coming to a brain and spine surgeon. My PCP made the referral.

  • Dr Marcovicci is the kindest most caring and above all well educated physician I have ever dealt with! I recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone in need of brain or spine Care. He is better than anyone I know in [Name] and I'm privileged to have him so close to home!

  • The doctor was on time for the appointment. So the wait time was short.

  • I love that the physicians walk you into a room and start your appointment. Nothing worse than sitting in a small room waiting for provider. Dr M was kind and compassionate throughout my visit.

  • Everything

  • Keep the good work thank you be safe

  • The doctor came to the waiting room to call me into the exam room. I have never had a doctor do that before. He listened to my concerned and answered all of my questions. He also walked me out handing me my paperwork I needed.

  • Went well, smooth, personal.

  • My granddad always told me that one cannot improve on perfection and that's how I feel about this facility and especially Dr. Marcovici

  • Dr is very knowledgeable but has a way of speaking in a condescending tone.

  • Dr. Marcovici is one of the most thorough, professional, caring providers I have ever encountered. He wrote the book on superlative care and patient experience.

  • Nothing to say but very good service

  • I am so pleased with Dr Marcovicci and ALL of the TEAM / STAFF are remarkable . I am so pleased to place my health in there hands, and l highly recommend SOUTHCOAST HEALTH !

  • Okay. I saw Dr. Marcovici today and January 25th. I spoke to him about my neck having severe pain and everything else referring me back to my primary care for pain management and when I ask you a couple of questions about, you know, if I needed surgery down the road that you know, what would be the length of time approximately to do the operation and what would be, you know, not definitive probably time of recovery, and he actually just never answer that. He kind of blew me off. So that's why I gave the ratings that I did. Other than that. He was gentleman. He didn't listen somewhat but not to my satisfaction and you know as far as you know, he's a great guy and everything else and I just wish that he was more attentive, professionalism absolutely a 9. Thank you.

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
