Patient Comments (11)

  • maybe a few more choices in what would come next concerning my visit

  • Everything was done well. Dr. Marcovici took plenty of time to examine me and ask appropriate questions.

  • Front office staff was very warm...doctor took me in with virtually no wait. Doctor was clear on the findings of my MRI and the possible medical responses. My primary had asked that I detail out my history and symptoms...which I did, however, it was not read nor referenced.

  • More than medicine when the Doctor walks you into the exam room and back out to the waiting room at the end! Dr. Marcovici was so calm and made me feel so comfortable in what could have been a very anxious situation for me. Thank you!!

  • Caring and thorough!!

  • Dr. Marcovici answered all of the questions I had and explained things in a way I could understand.

  • I find doctor's now spend more time typing on the computer instead of looking at and listening to the patient.I know time is money and it is important to keep things on schedule, but the 15 minute appointment should be spent working on the patient not the computer.Just my opinion.

  • Dr. Marcovici is a godsend. He treated me for a massive brain tumor eight years ago. I had a lot of complications and he was able to get me through each hurdle. I wish all doctors were as dedicated as he is. I see him every December as a follow up after my yearly MRI.

  • It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Marcovici. He provided me with all the information I needed to be able to understand my condition. He showed me my MRI results and explained them in detail.I look forward to working with him for my back concerns in the future.

  • VERY courteous and understanding, not sure if he knows how to treat my problem what we will see.

  • I am a new patient so we have a ways to go to make a plan

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Helpfulness of Clerks & Receptionists, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
