  • This was a 6 minute phone call with the doctor. Not a video call, a phone call. It was also an hour late. I really like dr Raymond but do not like having to do a 6 min phone call and saying that’s a visit. I sincerely hope the price does not reflect the usual $210 as if it were a regular appt.

  • From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out The staff was kind, respectful and met my every need. Thank you!!!

  • Convenient set up for televisit. Script coordination and renewal is great. Lab coordination always good. I had no problems.

  • As always. I was served as soon as I walked in the door. My doctor wait has never been more than 10 minutesAnd Dr Raymond is very thorough and knowledgeable about my health problems

  • Felt safe, given COVID 19.

  • Dr. Raymond is easy to talk to and listens. I never feel rushed even though I know she's busy.

  • Fantastic Dr.

  • Even though my first “visit” was via video tele health I felt the care and efficiency were excellent. I already have prescriptions ordered and follow up visits scheduled. Couldn’t ask for more. Looking forward to visiting in person.

  • All good, portal video conference was easy and effective

  • Dr. Raymond was wonderful and knowledgeable and order the right test. Thank you.

  • It was like a social chat. How are you? I'm good. How are you? I'm good. And you know unless you had something dramatically wrong with you. It was kind of just like a pleasant. Hello. How are you in a parking lot? So it doesn't compare to meeting 1 on 1. There you go.

  • Excellent experience, first time with tele medicine rather than an office visit

  • Dr. Raymond is awesome. Extremely professional but is very personally involved with my medical history and how she reacts to my concerns.I always have a very calm and satisfying feeling after my appointment.

  • Good response considering limited contact via telemedicine.

  • Dr Raymond is awesome !

  • Needed a specialist and had an appointment the following Friday

  • The first part of this survey is inaccurate for me because I had a telephone visit. That's why I pushed one I think on everything, but I did have a telephone visit. So I think you need to rephrase your first few questions. Thank you. Bye now.

  • I am 73 yrs old, hard of hearing & not at all happy with the quality of care demonstrated by Southcoast Health Family Medicine. I write this knowing fully that the pandemic has changed the way routine medical appointments are managed. I was contacted 1 week before my appt & told my appt would be via telephone not in person due to COVID19 which I agreed to. Half hour before the appt office staff called & asked me if I had 'telechat' on my cell phone for the appt - which I don't have. Five minutes later nurse called & asked same question; also asked if I had taken my blood pressure, temp, weight, etc. & told me BC/BS doesn't like plain telephone calls by doctor (making my fault I didn't have 'telechat' on my phone or completed the standard medical checks). I like to be prepared for medical visits but these requests had not been asked one week prior so I could have prepared. Doctor then called me at scheduled time: she asked what I had been doing, how I was feeling, etc. She told me labs would be delayed until October appt & congratulated me on continued exercise in the garden - this was extent of phone call. No discussion was offered on previous lab results, F/U on radiology or audiology referral. BTW - at no point did anyone take even a minute to tell me what "telechat' is or how to get it...apparently it is different from the SC Med Urgent Care App. In summary - this medical appt was a complete failure & waste of time as far as I am concerned, not at all helpful to my continued physical well-being. The experience would have been improved by just rescheduling the appointment to a future time.

  • Timely response and listened attentively.

  • This was a tele-visit and there are significant limitations. Since I had concerns regarding my high blood pressure, there wasn’t a way for my doctor to check it. She could only recommend that I go buy my own device to check it myself. I did buy a device but I have no idea if the very high readings are accurate. I think that I should have been seen in person.

  • Being face to face is always better. Under the COVID-19 restrictions she provided the best care possible

  • I have always been pleased with Dr. Raymond and the staff. I'm very happy there.

  • I appreciate that every person I have dealt with from top to bottom has seemed focused on my medical issues in a friendly and professional manner.

  • The answering machine, didn't work, was on there for 4.5 hours, however, I got on to MyChart and registered and got a number and password, and asked my question, in the after hours, and got a contact the next morning. Thank you, with all that you are handling, I was glad you answered my problem, which was not corona19 related. It was of great relief to me.

  • Dr. Raymond, this is extremely attentive. She's so knowledgeable and through the telephone appointments she was able to diagnose the situation, which other doctors were not able to diagnose and we are thankfully on the road to recovery. So I can't say enough about Dr. Raymond.

  • Fast, easy visit. Very professional and careful!

Southcoast Health physician profiles now feature star ratings.  Below, you’ll find frequently asked questions about our process for calculating the ratings.

Why does Southcoast publish survey ratings online?
Southcoast is dedicated to providing patients and consumers with helpful information about the quality of our patients’ experiences. Star ratings published on our physician biography pages are based on actual responses from patients of that particular physician to patient satisfaction surveys that are distributed and processed by a national patient satisfaction survey vendor.

Who receives the survey?
Our vendor sends surveys via SMS or email to all patients seen in our outpatient physician practices who have a valid smart phone number or email address on file with Southcoast Health. Surveys are sent to patients within a few days of their appointment.

How is the Patient Satisfaction Star Rating Calculated?
Star ratings are calculated using an average of all survey responses to each of three questions: Courtesy and Respect of Staff, Provider Overall Rating, and  Willingness to Recommend Provider’s Office.  The star rating displayed on our physicians’ main biography page represents the average of the three measures for that particular physician.
