Art & the Art of Healing
For the past year, Southcoast has been working with local artists to find a way to bring our two worlds together — the world of art and the world of healing.
St. Luke's Hospital exists to care for the health of the communities we serve — and art enriches the culture of every community it touches. With such a thriving artist’s colony in the greater New Bedford region, we thought it a natural fit to bring artwork created locally into our hospital.
We wish to thank the many local artists and donors who have contributed art to this growing permanent collection.
