Like our hospitals, our region’s many artists are a vital part of our community.

Their work reflects the culture, atmosphere, industry and environment that make the South Coast a treasured and special place.

Southcoast Hospitals has endeavored to connect the art of healing with the healing power of art by partnering with area artists to bring their works into St. Luke’s Hospital. Original artwork furnished by area artists and collectors now adorn many of the walls of the newly constructed areas of the hospital.

The results have been dramatic and resounding, creating an atmosphere that combines the medical and visual arts with state-of-the-art technology that provides consolation to the body, mind and spirit of all who enter.
