Mushtaque Chachar, MD

  • A graduate of Liaquat Medical College in Hyderabad, Pakistan, Dr. Chachar completed his residency in neurology at Emory University.

  • He also completed an internship in internal medicine at Brookdale Hospital in New York and was a post-doctoral research fellow in neurology at Yale.

  • Clinical interests: sleep medicine, hospital-based neurology and epilepsy.

  • Dr. Dorn earned his master's degree in clinical psychology from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and his doctorate from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Wheeling, Ill.

  • He trained and conducted research at the University of Chicago Biological Psychiatry Program at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute in Chicago and completed an internship at Parkwood Hospital in New Bedford, Mass.

  • His clinical practice focuses on the diagnostic testing and consultation of a variety of psychological and neuropsychological syndromes and disorders in children, adults and geriatrics. This includes neurodevelopmental syndromes, attention disorders, brain trauma and memory disorders.

  • Additionally,as a trained sports psychologist, Dr. Dorn focuses on concussions and the psychological and neuropsychological factors impacting athletic performance.

Swee Yang Lim, MD

Swee Yang Lim, MD

  • Dr. Lim is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA, followed by a residency in neurology and fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at Tufts Medical Center.

  • Dr. Lim is board certified in neurology and board eligible in neuromuscular medicine. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Flavia M. Machado, MD

  • Dr. Machado earned her medical degree from Fundação Técnico-Educacional Souza Marques University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She completed an internal medicine residency at the Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and a residency in Neurology at the Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro also in Brazil. Dr. Machado participated in a residency in internal medicine at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, Mass., and completed a residency in neurology at Tufts Medical Center.

  • Dr. Machado is particularly interested in treating patients who have had strokes or suffer from headaches.

  • She is board eligible in neurology and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

  • Dr. McDonald received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

  • He completed his clinical training in internal medicine from Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Anna I. Somerto, MD

  • Dr. Somerto earned her medical degree at the Turku Medical School at the University of Turku in Finland and completed a residency in neurology at University of California, Los Angeles. She also completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology / epilepsy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

  • She has special expertise and interest in the treatment of epilepsy and seizures in both adults and adolescents, along with general neurology, including testing for nerve and muscle disorders.

  • She is board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology (EEG and EMG testing) and sleep medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Epilepsy Society.
