- He trained and conducted research at the University of Chicago Biological Psychiatry Program at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute in Chicago and completed an internship at Parkwood Hospital in New Bedford, Mass.
- His clinical practice focuses on the diagnostic testing and consultation of a variety of psychological and neuropsychological syndromes and disorders in children, adults and geriatrics. This includes neurodevelopmental syndromes, attention disorders, brain trauma and memory disorders.
- Additionally,as a trained sports psychologist, Dr. Dorn focuses on concussions and the psychological and neuropsychological factors impacting athletic performance.

- Dr. McDonald received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

She also completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology / epilepsy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
- She has special expertise and interest in the treatment of epilepsy and seizures in both adults and adolescents, along with general neurology, including testing for nerve and muscle disorders.
