Emmet Eby, MD

• Board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and passed critical care boards in 2008, Dr. Eby has been a member of the medical staff at Tobey Hospital for more than 20 years.

• A graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School, Dr. Eby completed a residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York Hospital in Stony Brook and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine and critical care at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University in Providence, R.I.

• He has served as medical director of pulmonary medicine and critical care at Tobey and the bariatric surgery program at Southcoast Hospitals.

• He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Surgeons and a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Physicians.
