  • Dr. Clyne is the Medical Director, Southcoast Cardiac Arrhythmia Services. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, N.Y., and completed his internship and residency at New England Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston.

  • Dr. Clyne completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Mass., and a second fellowship in electrophysiology at the New England Medical Center, Tufts University Medical School in Boston.

  • Dr. Clyne is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a diplomat on the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society.

  • He was recognized as "Best Doctors in America-Cardiology," by US News and World Report, July, 2011.

  • Dr. Clyne is board certified in electrophysiology, cardiology and internal medicine.

Margaret Ferrell, MD

  • Dr. Ferrell is physician-in-chief of cardiovascular services at Southcoast Health System.

  • A graduate of Yale University, Dr. Ferrell earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her internship, residency and chief medical residency at Boston City Hospital, followed by a basic science research fellowship at the Cardiac Muscle Research Laboratory at Boston University School of Medicine.

  • She subsequently completed cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital.

  • She is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and internal medicine.

Adam J. Saltzman, MD

Adam J. Saltzman, MD

  • Adam J. Saltzman, MD is the Medical Director of the Structural Heart Disease program. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, and went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Columbia University in New York where he was recognized as a chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Columbia before returning to Boston to complete fellowships in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at Massachusetts General Hospital.

  • Dr. Saltzman is a specialist in catheter based complex coronary interventions and valve procedures, as well transcatheter therapies for congenital heart disease. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and interventional cardiology.

Nitesh Sood, MD

Nitesh Sood, MD

  • Dr. Sood graduated from Government Medical School in Nagpur, India. He completed clinical electives and a research fellowship at Georgetown University, as well as an internship and residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Sood also completed a fellowship in electrophysiology at the Lahey Clinic, Tufts University Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts.

  • Dr. Sood was selected as "Star Fellow" "Fellow Elite in Training" 2012 by American College of Cardiology (ACC) and also "Young Investigator of the year" 2012.

  • Dr. Sood is board certified in internal medicine, and holds certifications in echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and cardiovascular disease. He specializes in the field of electrophysiology.

  • Dr. Sood has a special interest in treating patients with atrial fibrillation, syncope and implantation of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators.
