Heritage at Dartmouth's Services

Heritage at Dartmouth is an assisted living community with the essentials of home; where seniors find safety, supportive services and a social atmosphere they need without giving up the traditions and independence they cherish.

Located on 16 wooded acres, Heritage at Dartmouth offers personal care and household services in the privacy of a residential setting and the convenience of the community's proximity to Route I-195 and Route 6.

Heritage at Dartmouth is a joint venture between Genesis Elder Care and Southcoast Health System.

Throughout one's life, independence plays a very important role. To older adults, it means as much as it ever has. We've designed our assisted living services to be as sensitive to people's pride as to their needs. Our philosophy of respecting and recognizing every person's need for privacy and individualism has been deeply ingrained in our staff.

Heritage at Dartmouth offers residents many opportunities to take part in lectures, social gatherings, cultural programs, and a variety of other activities. Shared community areas such as the library, wellness room, spa, general store, program room, country kitchen, private dining room, and beauty salon are also available for enjoyment.

Residents are offered:

• Three delicious meals served daily in our dining rooms.
• Weekly housekeeping/flat linen service.
• Personal care (help with bathing, dressing, etc.).
• 24-hour staff.
• Scheduled transportation.
• Social events, wellness classes, etc.

We offer an extensive range of personal care services such as help with bathing and dressing and medication reminders. Well-prepared meals and wait-service in our attractive dining room, weekly housekeeping, transportation and recreational programs are just a few of the many other services we provide.

While residents are free to rely on our staff as much or as little as they like, they enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that assistance is always available. At a Heritage community, residents receive just the right amount of individualized service from people who are attentive to their independence and well-being.

Heritage at Dartmouth is a rental community. No entrance fee or purchase is required. Our bright and cheerful studio, one and two bedroom apartments have room for family visits as well as family traditions.

Directions

From Boston:
Route 24 South to Route I-195 East to Exit 11, Reed Road. At the end of the ramp turn right onto Reed Road. Continue on Reed Road until you reach Route 6. Turn left and continue on Route 6 for about one mile. As you approach Wal-Mart ease to the left lane. At the traffic light (Cross Road) turn left. Continue on Cross Road about 1/2 mile. As the road curves, turn left into our driveway.

From Providence:
Route I-195 East to Exit 11, Reed Road. At the end of the ramp turn right on to Reed Road. Continue on Reed Road until you reach Route 6. Turn left and continue on Route 6 for about one mile. As you approach Wal-Mart ease to the left lane. At the traffic light (Cross Road) turn left. Continue on Cross Road about 1/2 mile. As the road curves, turn left into our driveway.

From Cape Cod:
Over the Bridge and follow the signs to Route I-195 West. Continue on Route I-195 West to Exit 12A , North Dartmouth. At the first traffic light (Cross Road) turn right. Follow Cross Road about 2 miles to Heritage at Dartmouth. Turn right into our driveway.
