Our comprehensive aquatic rehabilitation outpatient program at Southcoast combines the beneficial qualities of water with traditional physical therapy to improve your movement, decrease pain and more. Join Our Aquatic Physical Therapy Program
Southcoast Health offers aquatic therapy in Wareham, MA at the Gleason YMCA, but you do not need to be a YMCA member to join our program. However, a medical doctor’s prescription for physical therapy, which is deemed medically necessary to increase independence or enhance daily activities, is required to begin therapy.
Most insurance providers will cover aquatic therapy when you have physician prescription noting a medical diagnosis. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to discuss any out-of-pocket expenses for this therapy.
