Southcoast welcomes two new pediatricians to the region

Margaret Dyer, MD, and Joely Edwards, MD, join Southcoast Physicians Group in Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, Mass - Southcoast® Health System today announced that pediatricians Margaret Dyer, MD, and Joely Edwards, MD, have joined Southcoast Physicians Group and will practice with Lawrence R. Dehner, MD, and Katherine E. Frias, MD. They will see patients at 49 State Road, Pequot Building, Suite 201, in Dartmouth.

Margaret Dyer, MD

Dr. Dyer received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She began a pediatric residency at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., and completed her pediatric residency at Stony Brook Long Island Children’s Hospital in Stony Brook, N.Y.

Dr. Dyer is board eligible in pediatrics. She is certified in basic life support, advanced pediatric life support, and neonatal resuscitation. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Dyer currently resides in North Kingston, R.I.

Joely Edwards, MD

Dr. Edwards is a graduate of Boston College in Boston and the Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Dupont Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

Dr. Edwards is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Warren Albert School of Medicine at Brown University in Providence, R.I.

Dr. Edwards is board certified in Pediatrics. She is also a certified adoption specialist.

Dr. Edwards resides in South Yarmouth.
