Southcoast names Grace R. Dotson, RN, MS, Director of Care Coordination

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Southcoast™ Health System has named Grace R. Dotson, RN, MS, as Director of Care Coordination. In her new role, Dotson will oversee the staff and services provided within the scope of Care Coordination. Care Coordination includes case management, medical social work, translation services and utilization management.

Before joining Southcoast, Dotson held the position of Director of Hospital Case Management for the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, S.C. and at Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the State of New York in Albany, N.Y. and Master of Science in Health Systems Administration from Sage Graduate School in Albany, N.Y.

Dotson is certified as a Case Management Administrator by the Center for Case Management in Boston. She has been actively involved with the American Case Management Association and various national and state level teams associated with the American Hospital Association.
