Renee Clark named Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Southcoast Hospitals Group
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. —Southcoast™ Health System has named Renee Clark, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Southcoast Hospitals Group. In her new position, Clark will drive efforts towards achieving and sustaining operational excellence in day-to-day functions, program development, and growth across all three hospitals — Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford and Tobey Hospital in Wareham.
Clark will lead a hospital-wide team in conjunction with other hospital leaders, which will work to identify and implement improvements in operations to further support staff in providing the highest quality patient care.
“Renee has already helped to move Southcoast forward in her previous role as Vice President of the Medicine Care Center,” said Linda Bodenmann, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Southcoast Health System. “She has a successful track record in hospital operations from her prior experiences at Tufts Medical Center and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.”
Before joining Southcoast, she was Administrative Director of Medical & Surgical Specialties in Boston at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center.
Clark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Framingham State College and a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Simmons College in Boston.
She resides in Millis with her husband, Scott, and their two children.
