February 28 program will focus on promoting and maintaining cardiovascular health
The free health education programs are designed to help you make healthier decisions and support your well-being.
The February health education program "Promoting and Maintaining Cardiovascular Health," will take place on Thursday February 28, at 6:30 p.m., at the Barrington Public Library, 281 County Road in Barrington.
Cardiologist Robert Schwengel, MD, FACC, of Cardiovascular Associates of Rhode Island, part of Southcoast Physicians Group, will discuss an overview for promoting and maintaining good cardiovascular health throughout your lifetime. He will focus on improving cardiac risk factors for prevention, common cardiovascular conditions, maintaining cardiovascular health after diagnosis/treatment, common diagnostics and newer developments in cardiovascular treatments.
