Southcoast Health System and Bayside YMCA present a new healthy living series "Partnering for a Healthy East Bay"
December 3 program will focus on Alzheimer's and dementia
BARRINGTON, R.I. — Southcoast™ Health System, in partnership with the Bayside YMCA, presents "Partnering for a Healthy East Bay," a new monthly series focused on helping you and your family live a healthy lifestyle.
The free health education programs are designed to help you make healthier decisions and support your well-being.
The December health education program "Alzheimer's and Dementia: What you need to know," will take place on Monday, December 3, at 1 p.m. at the Barrington Public Library, 281 County Road in Barrington.
Bruce Abbott, MD, Director of Neurology for the Southcoast Brain & Spine Center, will lead a discussion on Alzheimer's and dementia. He will share new findings, treatments and techniques on both illnesses.
