Kyle Tokarz, DO, joins Southcoast Physicians Group

FALL RIVER, Mass. — Southcoast Health System has announced that pain medicine specialist Kyle Tokarz, DO, has joined Southcoast Physicians Group and will see patients at the Southcoast Pain Medicine Program, 543 Prospect Street in Fall River.

The Southcoast Pain Medicine Program supports patients at the Southcoast Brain & Spine Center, Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care and Southcoast Physicians Group. The Southcoast Pain Medicine Program also has offices located at the Southcoast Brain & Spine Center, 480 Hawthorn Street in Dartmouth and at Southcoast Health System at Rosebrook, 100 Rosebrook Way, Suite 200, in Wareham.

Dr. Tokarz received his doctor of osteopathy degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.Va. He completed his internship in surgery and his residency in anesthesiology at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. He also completed his fellowship in pain management at the University of California-Davis in Sacramento, Calif.

Before joining Southcoast, Dr. Tokarz served as a staff anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego where he was also distinguished as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Uniformed School of Health Sciences School of Medicine.

He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in anesthesiology, with sub-specialty certification in pain medicine. Dr. Tokarz is accepting new patients. For an appointment please call 508-679-7782.
