Rashmi Sharma, MD, joins Southcoast Physicians Group

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Southcoast™ Health System has announced that internal medicine physician Rashmi Sharma, MD, has joined Southcoast Physicians Group. Dr. Sharma is joining the practice of Kristin L. Anderson, MD, Gary A. Grosart, MD, John J. Podkowa, MD, and Dilma H. Silva, MD, and will see patients at Buttonwood Internal Medicine, 543 North Street in New Bedford.

Dr. Sharma received her medical degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College and Hospitals in New Delhi, India. She spent eight years continuing her education with various medical training in the United Kingdom. Most recently she completed her internal medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pa. Dr. Sharma is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
