Salon Ambiance to host third annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day
All proceeds to benefit Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care

"The goal of this event is to continue to make a difference in the community," said Kerry Torres, owner of Salon Ambiance. "We hope to see many lives changed for the better by the donations made from this event."
The event will feature half price on select services, including haircuts, waxing, threading, chair massages and mini manicures. It will also include raffles, refreshments, music, face painting and more. The event is open to the public and will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"Salon Ambiance is shining example of a local businesses giving back to their community," said Agatha St Amour, Director of Volunteer Services for Southcoast Health System. "We are extremely thankful for their passion and commitment to supporting local cancer care at Southcoast. Last year alone this event raised $3,570. Please join Salon Ambiance on October 7 as they try to exceed their previous donations."

About the Auxiliary of Charlton Memorial Hospital
The Auxiliary of Charlton Memorial Hospital is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to render service to Charlton Memorial Hospital, its tax-exempt subsidiaries, its patients and to assist in promoting the health and welfare of the community. The Auxiliary raises money throughout the year by hosting fundraisers, a spring gala, raffles, jewelry and apparel sales. They also run the hospital gift shop with all proceeds going toward the hospital.
