Rajeev Prabakaran, MD, joins Southcoast Physicians Group

FALL RIVER, Mass. — Southcoast™ Health System has announced that gastroenterologist Rajeev Prabakaran, MD, has joined Southcoast Physicians Group. Dr. Prabakaran will be joining the practice of Marvin Berman, MD, and Charles Bennett Shana, MD, and will see patients at Truesdale Clinic, 1030 President Avenue in Fall River.

Dr. Prabakaran received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Fla. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology, at Boston Medical Center in Boston.

Dr. Prabakaran is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is board certified in internal medicine.
