Jennifer Pritchard named Director of Southcoast Diabetes Management Program

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Southcoast Health System has named Jennifer Pritchard as the Director of >Southcoast Diabetes Management Program. In her new role, Pritchard will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive diabetes prevention and management program across the continuum of care within the Southcoast Health System that includes primary care, inpatient and outpatient services, the Southcoast Visiting Nurses Association and skilled nursing facilities.

Before joining Southcoast, Pritchard held the positions of Program Coordinator for the Diabetes Center, Quality Improvement Specialist, and Care Manager at South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.

Pritchard holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa in Canada and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Simmons College in Boston. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Association for Healthcare Quality.

Pritchard resides in Duxbury with her husband, Barry, with their two children, Sara and Taylor.
