Auxiliary of St. Luke's Hospital announces 2012-2013 scholarship winners

The Auxiliary presented five $1,000 scholarship awards to area high school seniors during its annual Scholarship Luncheon held June 1 at the Waterfront Grille in New Bedford.
The 2012-2013 Scholarship winners are:
- Jessica DeSousa, a graduate of New Bedford High School, who will attend the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth to pursue a degree in premedical and health science.
- Kaylyn Vieira, a graduate of New Bedford High School, who will attend Franklin Pierce College to pursue a career as a physician assistant.
- Kara Rebello, a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, who will attend Rhode Island College to pursue a degree in nursing.
- Kayla McConnell, a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, who will attend Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to pursue a degree in nursing.
- Riley E. Marion, a graduate of Dartmouth High School, who will attend Ithaca College to pursue a degree in physical therapy.
