Southcoast VNA to host free presentation entitled "Grief 101: An interactive introduction to normal response to loss"


LITTLE COMPTON, R.I. — Southcoast Visiting Nurse Association, known in the community as Southcoast VNA, will host a free presentation on April 24 entitled "Grief 101: An interactive introduction to normal responses to loss," lead by Judith C. Anderson, MA, CGS, Southcoast VNA Bereavement Services Chaplain.

The presentation will cover the following topics:

  • What is grief?
  • What is the task of grief?
  • What is normal grief?
  • Myths and facts about grief.
  • What is happening to me?
  • What can I do to help myself?
  • How do I know I am getting better?

The presentation will take place on Tuesday, April 24, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Little Compton Wellness Center, 115 East Main Road in Little Compton. Light refreshments will be served.
