Carolyn Allen named Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for Southcoast Hospitals Group

FALL RIVER, Mass. — Southcoast Hospitals Group has named Carolyn Allen as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. In her new role, Allen provides executive support and leadership to Southcoast Hospital Group's General Accounting and Budget & Decision Support departments.

Before joining Southcoast, Allen was Chief Financial Officer at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Conn. She held similar positions at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Ky., and St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kan.

Allen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Management, both from the University of Texas in San Antonio, and Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and Master of Business Administration from Regis University in Denver.

Allen resides in Portsmouth, R.I.
