Margaret Ferrell, MD, named Physician-in-Chief of Cardiovascular Services

Dr. Ferrell has been Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Charlton Memorial Hospital and an interventional cardiologist with Prima CARE for the past six years. She will continue to see patients in her new role.
A graduate of Yale University, Dr. Ferrell earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her internship, residency and chief medical residency at Boston City Hospital, followed by a basic science research fellowship at the Cardiac Muscle Research Laboratory at Boston University School of Medicine. She subsequently completed cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Ferrell is board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
