Jim Feen named Director of Applications & Systems Development, MIS, at Southcoast Hospitals Group

FALL RIVER, Mass. — Southcoast Hospitals Group has promoted Jim Feen to Director of Applications & Systems Development in the MIS department. In his new role, Feen oversees four core information technology applications teams that focus on business systems, physician initiatives, clinical systems and programming and interfaces. He also is responsible for the IT Project Management Office efforts as well as internal software development to augment the core applications and IT systems used across Southcoast Hospitals.

Prior to his promotion, Feen was MIS Clinical Systems Manager at Southcoast. Prior to joining Southcoast nearly four years ago, Feen was Senior Supervisor at MEDITECH, in Norwood, where he managed implementing and supporting clinical software systems for 10 years.

Feen holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.

Feen serves on the Board of Directors for Cape Cod Canal Youth Hockey and is Commissioner of Cape Cod Canal youth In-House Development hockey program. He is also a member of the St. Luke's Hospital Golf League.

Feen resides in Rochester with his wife, Amy Feen, and their three children.
