Kicking-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the event will include:
- A Breast Health lecture at 11 a.m., presented by Patricia Andrade, MD, a surgeon at Southcoast who specializes in breast cancer treatment.
- Free screenings including posture screenings, bone density, cholesterol and blood pressure screenings.
- A tour of the mammography facilities with radiologist Jonathan Bojarski, MD.
- Presentations on complementary therapies such as reflexology and acupuncture with certified complementary therapies practitioner Mary Chessa.
