NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. — Free skin cancer screenings will be held at The Oncology Center in North Dartmouth on Wednesday, September 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Dermatologists who specialize in the treatment of skin disease and disorders, along with registered nurses, will conduct the screening and provide information on skin cancer prevention tips and area services for cancer patients.

Space is limited and pre-registration for the screening is required. To register please call The Oncology Center at 508-979-5858, ext. 1001. The Oncology Center is located at 480 Hawthorn Place, First Floor, North Dartmouth.

The Oncology Center is a joint service of Southcoast Hospitals Group (Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford and Tobey Hospital in Wareham), St. Anne's Hospital and Longwood Radiation Oncology Center/Harvard Medical School.

The Oncology Center provides comprehensive cancer care through medical oncology, radiation therapy, nutrition, social services and family support services.
