The following benefits are available to employees scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week

Earned Time-off Plan

Earned Time is a consolidated paid time-off program that may be used at your option for vacation, holidays, and/or days off for other personal reasons.

The strength of earned time is that all of the time accrued by you is available to be paid or taken as time off at your choosing within policy parameters; Earned time may also be used for days off due to personal illness or unanticipated illness in your family.

The purpose of providing earned time rather than separate categories of paid time-off is to give you greater flexibility in managing your time off.

This program has been designed to provide you with the opportunity of enjoying paid days off when they are needed, whether for vacation, holidays, a few days illness, or other personal matters.

You may choose to take all of your earned time off each year. You have the option of cashing in earned time any time you have in excess of 80 hours in your earned time bank. You have the options of "cashing in" earned time in increments of your control/budgeted hours.

The plan allows accumulation of 1,040 hours. However, you are encouraged to use at least 120 hours of paid time-off (pro-rated for part time employees) each year.
