Massachusetts Health Care Reform Coalition

This site is where you can learn how to help support the new Massachusetts Health Care Reform Law.

If you live in Massachusetts and don't have health insurance, the state's new Commonwealth Care plans can cover most of your health needs — and your family's — at little or no cost.

Southcoast only accepts BMC HealthNet and Neighborhood Health Plan, the plans that offer you the most choice and access to the region's largest and most advanced health care system.

Get started today by calling the Southcoast Hospitals Patient Financial Services Department. Our trained staff will:

  • Explain everything you need to apply for health insurance.
  • Help you determine which health plan might best fit your needs.
  • Help you complete and file an application.
  • Support you while your application is processed.

We are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all three of our hospital sites — Charlton in Fall River, St. Luke's in New Bedford and Tobey in Wareham.

Call today. It's easy. And we're here to help.
